The fleet is pretty tight around the primary island cluster, which is voluntarily immobile. Peace has lasted so long, most of the military ships have been converted to housing for the rich. Mixed race ships are relatively uncommon outside of the military; all military ships are mixed race. Most mixed race civilian ships are captained by an Urok Patriarch. Your ship will have a crew of 36 when fully complimented. The Zha’Kai boast both the largest ship and number of ships. Their flag ship, The Zephyra, counted among the fastest ships in the feet and has impressive defensive capabilities. It operates as part of the fleet but also houses the zha’kai house of elders and for political reasons rarely strays from the main island cluster. Many other less impressive ships exist in the fleet that are larger than the ship you’re on, most of them are homes to rich families or merchants. There are just as many ships smaller than yours, including a small fleet of zha’kai ships which can be piloted by as few as two persons. The most interesting ship smaller than yours is the sole Gaian ship, The Normandy, which boasts a crew of mostly Phobo’kai and the few Gaians left in the fleet. The Normandy is at least as fast as the Zephyra and every bit as deadly. Most people live on the main island, Erden, or its numerous orbiting artificial islands. Erden has a diameter of 50 miles, Erden City at its center, farm land and wilderness most else, its peppered with tiny villages. Most islands do not exceed a mile in width and consist of a village, farms and a small wilderness.

Many other artificial island clusters exist, spread far from Erden. Either for business, politics, or religion these places are diversely populated with people looking to operate outside of the laws of the fleet. Some of these clusters are elusive and move around, others rest immediately outside the outer patrol. The outer patrol is the fleets self imposed limit of legal oversight and police presence. This enforcement limit was placed to avoid conflict and bloodshed. The most notable of these clusters is the Uroki Tribal cluster, who despite past aggression and counter aggression have become a reliable ally to the fleet.

Asziian also have a presence in warmspace. Several seemingly inoperative stations line the great freeze and the great storm and although it is forbidden by fleet law, some have been colonized by the common races. Rarely ships are spotted traveling, and several reports tell of them passing into the freeze or the storm seemingly intentionally. Though it’s only happened a handful of times, ship to ship combat with them has always been extremely disastrous for the fleet.
